C: CxW Then and Now

So I finally got to see Coraline this Friday (thanks Victor!), and it took a day or two for how much I adore it to sink in fully enough to produce this.

Seriously I think I was in some sort of awe-coma or something, but anyway it's over now and behold the love on paper!

I had meant to read the book first but it didn't happen (I'm gonna pick it up tomorrow actually), so I can't give a good comparison-review yet. Maybe in a week or so. I have a feeling I'm going to miss Wybie though. He's so dang cute and weird! For an add-on character, he rocks pretty hard.

Naturally, this is the obligatory what-would-they-look-like-older pic as well as a first attempt at their child forms. Both of which came out pretty cute, I think. I had a tough time with Wybie's hair in his teen version. I wanted something different but dreadlocks were not the first thing to come to mind. I'm glad they did though, they look pretty good! I imagine he still gets nature (twigs and leaves) stuck in them on occasion, lol. ^_^

Anyway I've rambled on enough - see my notes on the sketch itself for more details, if you can read my handwriting, lol.
